Net Business Labs / Robotics

Scan-to-sim digital twins · OpenUSD · NVIDIA Isaac Sim

Your robot’s first day on site should happen in simulation.

We scan your real warehouse, factory or hospital and rebuild it as a labelled, physics-ready 3D twin your robots can train and test in, before they touch the real floor.

Live demo — rendered in your browser

One twin, four layers. Toggle what the robot sees.

A miniature of what we hand over: the visual twin, the collision geometry beneath it, the semantic labels on top, and the occupancy grid your ROS 2 stack consumes.

The captured site as your team sees it — geometry true to the real floor.

from site scan to sim-ready twin

A pretty 3D model is useless to a robot.

Robots need to know what’s a wall, what’s a shelf, how heavy a box is, and where they’re not allowed to go. Most scans and CAD files arrive without any of that. We add it, so your twin loads in your simulator and behaves like the real building.

What you get

01

Photoreal capture

A Gaussian splat of your site from a 360° scan, with real lighting, textures and clutter.

02

Collision geometry

Clean meshes for walls, floors, racks, doors and fixed equipment, built by hand where accuracy matters.

03

Semantic labels

Every object class tagged: shelf, door, ramp, no-go zone. Ready for perception training.

04

SimReady OpenUSD scene

Packaged as OpenUSD and tested loading in NVIDIA Isaac Sim.

05

Navigation map

2D map and occupancy grid for your ROS 2 stack. Navigation maps are what we’ve built for nine years.

06

Living twin

Optional monthly updates as your layout changes, plus scenario packs for training variations.

Paid pilot

One site. Four weeks. Fixed quote.

Send us your floor plan and what your robot needs to do. You get a fixed-fee quote within 48 hours. The pilot fee is credited in full against a follow-on contract.

Who builds it

Precision 3D is the only thing we’ve ever done.

For nine years our 50-person studio has built 3D navigation maps for a global mapping client: accurate, structured spatial data, delivered at volume, on deadline. Robot simulation needs exactly that discipline.

Our team works daily in Maya, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Blender and CAD, and delivers into OpenUSD for robotics simulators.
